While LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell and USC wideout Dwayne Jarrett have decided to forgo finishing college for the glitz and glamour of the NFL, Electronic Arts is sticking around campus like a 14th-year senior.

In a move that doesn't surprise anyone, EA is bringing its top-selling franchise back for another season of NCAA Football. The NCAA Football series is routinely one of EA's top sellers each year (like its cousin Madden NFL) and thrives during the traditionally slow summer period for the game industry.

EA has not yet announced any platforms, release date, or details on the game. According to the game's Web site, the cover athlete will be announced on March 2. Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith of Ohio State and Brady Quinn of Notre Dame are the front-runners for the honors.

EA told GameSpot that more details will be announced in early March.
