Getting the Sun Gem

The Sun Gem is a unique attachment that can greatly enhance the weapon it is equipped to.  There is only one Sun Gem, and you must follow a series of steps to get it.

• The first steps to getting the Sun Gem takes place in Matataki Village. When you finish building CousCous House, he awards you with some Candy. Then give the Candy to Bunkbuka to get the Ointment Leaf

• Later in the game, when you reach the town of Queens, give the Ointment Leaf to Basker to get the Foundation make-up.

• The next step to getting the Sun Gem takes place in Muska Lacka. Give the Foundation Make-up to Jibubu to get the Clay Doll. If Jibubu isn’t inside his house, make sure you have the Foundation in your inventory. If he’s still not there, try revisiting later in the game.

• The final step to getting the Sun Gem takes place in the moon village called Yellow Drop. Give the Clay Doll to Marnia, the person who collect rare items. In exchange Marnia will give you the Sun Gem.

The Demon Shaft

The Demon Shaft is a bonus dungeon that becomes available after you defeat the Dark Genie at the end of the Gallery of Time. When you are given the option to save your game after the ending movie plays through, you must save if you want to enter the Demon Shaft. Once you have done this, all saved games on your PlayStation2 8 Megabyte memory card that have access to the Gallery of Time will also have access to the Demon Shaft. This means that, after you’ve finished the game and saved, when you load a saved game which has access to the Gallery of Time, the Demon Shaft will be available on the "Go to another area" menu. The earliest you can enter the Demon Shaft is immediately after you complete the first level of the Gallery of Time.
