Only Downfall Is Console Power

I've been playing this game since its initial release. I even waited to buy a backward-compatible PS3 so that I could continue to play this game. Even four-and-a-half years later, and after the release of Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, I still find myself addicted to it. The attention to detail in everything from the atmospheric colour of the sky on any given track to the number of louvres in the grill of your favourite car is nothing short of the product of an unhealthy obsession with perfection. After what I'm certain must be months of gameplay time, the only negative thing I can say about this title is that the console for which it was designed was not capable of revealing the full depth of the artists' vision. After playing GT5P, I've little doubt that When the full version of Gran Turismo 5 is released, it will prove to be everything to which GT4 had always aspired.
