It Felt Good to Be Out of the Rain

In the desert, you can't remember your name because there ain't no-one to give you no name.
Except in this case, the horse's name is Agro and you're the nameless one. You're on a mission to revive a girl named Mono and a voice in a temple tells you what must be done: slay sixteen giants that are scattered across the single most vast landscape in PS2 history. With only Agro and whatever lizards you can find for lunch to keep you company, each battle provides a sensation that you are actually playing a PS3 game. The visuals are at this console's best and most of the enemies can and sometimes will crush you to death under their foot without even noticing. Paired with Ico, the game to which this is a prequel, you are treated to an epic story the depths of which can be especially apreciated by anyone with an eye for archetecture, mythology, and most importantly literature.
