Kilik

As the master of the medium to borderline long range game, Kilik is the perfect character to use if you're looking for a mixture of moderate speed with distance. It appears that the key to Kilik's game is to sustain this distance between himself and his opponent.

This isn't to say that Kilik is lacking in any other range, as he has some options available to him for handling a short pressure or 8-way run offensive. It is just important to find a way to shove the opponent back into the mid to long range zone, where Kilik can excel at poking his opponent.

The same is also true for the long range. While it might seem like Kilik should have a great long range game, he doesn't have a wide variety of moves that will help him keep his distance let alone trade blows against a strong long range opponent.

Also keep in mind the ring out strategy, as Kilik can apply more pressure than the usual character in shoving an opponent out of the arena.

Bo Rush Combo (A, A, B)

Kilik has way too many options available to him for smacking people around in the medium distance game for me to list everything. Some of his simpler tools, however, like the Bo Rush Combo, Raging Phoenix Combo (6, A, A, A), Raging Phoenix Bo (6, A, A, B), Ling Su Upper (3, A, B) and Ling Su Rising Bo (3, A, B+K) should be enough to get you started with holding the medium game down with Kilik.

Dirty Bo (1, A+B)

If you are looking to whack your opponent's shins or punish him/her for laying on the ground, Dirty Bo, Trick Bo (3, A+B), and Lower Bo Smack down (2, A+B) offer up some nice low exclusive combos.

Stream Thrust (4, 4, B)

If you absolutely feel the need to go into the long game or you are in a bizarre situation where trading hits from a far distance is key, try checking out Stream Thrust and Phoenix Rage Thrust (4, B). Both moves should let Kilik stretch out far enough to jab your opponent, but you really shouldn't allow Kilik to have to resort to this in the first place.
