Stunning...

The graphics in this game are absolutely beautiful... the first 10 minutes of play will amaze you. If you watch the NFL you will recognize every face even if they didn't have their names on their jerseys. The fact that it adapts to exactly how good or how bad you are makes it great to play with friends, with people online, or against the computer. Great Game!

Amazing new features. Great graphics and online is the best it's ever been with the add on of Leagues. Great for the hardcore Madden online players like myself :D

Good Game, but...

Madden 09 is a solid game, very good for hardcore and online players, but as a player who prefers the Franchise mode, it leaves a lot to be desired. The action is still top-notch, but the usually TV-style presentation is lackluster.

Like I said, a nice offering, but it's missing some of the little things.

Video output in HD requires cables and an HD-compatible display, both sold separately. Copy-protected Blu-ray video discs can only output at 1080p using an HDMI cable connected to a device that is compatible with the HDCP standard. HDMI cable not included. If a device that is not compatible with the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) standard is connected to the system using an HDMI cable, video and/or audio cannot be output from the system.
