You'll Either Love it or Hate It.

This is a first time players review. I've only played the single player campaign for 3 hours(I'm not one to play a game online until I've learnt the ropes & read the rules thru properly, out of respect for other players & for my own(respect)), tho I have played the demo online a while back which I found frustrating, ample reason to see where I'm at controller wise. & that gives me scope for my first problem with this & many other current online games: respawning us in the middle of 3 others battling, giving us little or no time to see where we are at(& we are only a little dot in this game). We need time infinite health for 5 secs, I mean Uncharted2 beta was this bad too. Also in S.Pl. we have to wait 5 or so secs to respawn, we get shot from offscreen even with it set on wide. Killed Bots seemingly respawn immediately out of nowhere, yet will kill you with a bullet when you would need 2 of the same ammo to kill him. On it's plus side, the graphics are solid, You load once yet have respawn countdown. 6/10

Great game, with one flaw

Honestly, this game single player was awesome. But the fact that you couldn't play with a 2nd controller was really frustrating. What is the point of the PS3 being able to support 7 controllers if you can't even play this game with a friend at your house. I think the developers could have made this "offline multiplayer" feature work even if they had to compromise and make the maps smaller to support the camera not having to zoom out to support 2 players sharing the same screen. Or maybe split screen??

I kinda have a similar multiplayer frustration with the game Pain and the fact that you have to pass the controller around the room when you play multiplayer on that.

It was only $4.99 so I didn't regret my purchase but I really wish it supported multiple players at home.

The best PSN game ever!

This game is awesome and totally badass! Reminds me a lot of Contra III but with jetpacks, and multiplayer online. This is an instant classic 2D shooter. The best part about this game is its fast-paced tempo and the insane ways you can multikill 11 players like you were some one-man army Rambo guy. And the weapons are awesome, especially plasma. This game easily beats any 3D first-person shooter. With heavy emphasis on pure skill and game play rather than graphics and music, this is the game any serious hardcore game does not want to miss out on.

If you really like multiplayer action and alot of Bang for you Buck this is the game for you,don't hesitate! It's a goodie!!

Fun, but how much?

When I first played the game I became addicted and thought I'd never stop. That was until a couple of days later when i just stopped. It just didnt have anything more to make me continue playing it.
But, it is very fun and I do recommend it to others for nice quick rounds of intense shooting and joystick straining aiming.

Grenade launcher ftw!

Pretty Good

This game is really good. The weapons are awesome and everything is all fun and games--and blood. Get it its awesome.

Not bad Not bad!

This is a good game, easy to pick up and understand but is tricky to be a very good player at it. It has good graphics and is a well advanced 2D style game but turns into a 3D game as you can switch to different side of the map you are playin.
The AI in the game is well advanced and if you didnt know they were bots you would think you were playing an online match. I would give the game 4 1/2 out of 5.
