Mostly more of the same

Dynasty warriors 6 is basicly the same game as 5,4, and proboly 3 "I never played 3" but that doesn't mean it's bad. Dynasty warroirs 6 has some nice new features, One new feature is seige type battle or action. I will elaborate, when approching a castle with a strong gate it takes quite a bit of time and force to break it down, when you try and seige the castle your engineers build catupults, rams, and ladders. During this time you can need to defend your enginners so they can complete there goods. At the same time the enemy will have many troops dispatched to that area to stop you from advancing. The renbu system is also a new idea centered around the simple idea the more you kill the better combos you can do, and in the last one endlessly chain it. This is coupled with probably my favorite addition which is a leveling system where you can control new skills and stat boosts, even though the chart is premade for each char it lets you prioratize that char the way you want. Also char's can use a Special attack such as Rockslide, or arrow volley depending on the charater and if he or she has such and attack available. The weapon system has changed as well but it really isn't anythign special. One other little addition is the ability to swim which is nice but not really that important, except maybe for the addition of Chi Bi and Fan Castle "Lots of water here" All this being said the graphics are sub pare however the number of objects the game has to produce may be a leading cause, however I suspect it is mostly the game not hardware. The game it self is of course the same as well combat wise hack/slash rinse repeat. This is fun to play but it lacks any kind of depth at all. My point with this series has always been this, the last iteration should have been how the first one was made be.
