I agree with the ArcAngelMD review -- whlie the game is fun and the price is low, there are not that many levels in the single-player campaign. That being said, the multi-player "party" games we discovered a few months after buying the game have breathed new life into it. There are several of our friends who request to play the game nearly every time they come over!
A game like this does not need awesome graphics, but this game goes further than most: when we upgraded to a new TV, we started to notice all kinds of little details in the animals and environment. The background image/videos suffer from the same blur the Lemmings game does, but it's not overly distracting.
The world music soundtrack is quite enjoyable, but sounds like an MP3. Again, there are other downloadable games that sound better. On a system that supports 24-bit lossless decoding for free, I don't know why more games don't take advantage.
Is it worth the $5? If you like puzzles, or want kid-friendly games, yes. If you are on the fence, wait and hope that Sony adds trophies and/or a level editor and/or better sound assets.
