Very Useful

by NINEblademanNINE Jun 18, 2009, 12:07 AM PDT

Besides using my PlayStationEye to chat with my friends, I enjoy making videos and editing them with the EyeCreate. I have a 320GB harddrive and my videos are a small percentage that take up my memory. After seeing Picture Frames come out in home, I hope there will be some Video Frames or something to share my EyeCreate videos on. Nevertheless, EyeCreate has several features used to edit my recorded clips.

fun for kids

My son has had a good time with the Eye and its software. He has made many movies for his friends. It is fairly easy to use. I'd like to see additional features added to the image capture and editing software, not just games. Overall I'd recommend it over other stand alone webcam/software bundles. it does more but it's still not the same as IMovie or Nero for assembling movie clips.

Grate Idea and concept however

by lee98632 Jan 2, 2009, 10:23 AM PST

Being into video and editng there are 2 short fals to really making this a real success 1 is the lack of adding fades, titels and other effects which could easily be added via a software pack and 2 is the Lack of choice in recording frame rates.
We always should be given a chocie on waht frame rate we ant to record in either HD or standard. Sony You have a greate Idea, but you sold your self short. If you would add theses 2 simple things, I think that you would blow the others away. Perhaps an editing studio of some kind that could be specificaly for that would be a great adition. I get a lot of responses from people saying you paid how much for that cam? many of us make vids and post them to youtube, I think we would kick but if we could post in HD ..that would draw curiosity to both console as well as the eye create. plus with standard tv is leaving the scene and making way for digital and hd. hmm time to upgrade "Eye Create" to meet todays standards :)
