it's the same as the old FiFA

by OJBM Aug 30, 2009, 12:09 AM PDT

all i can say is if you have other FIFA tittles on other consoles like the one on PS2 there really is nothing new on this release except for better grapihics, I actually miss that old fifa where you can order your team mate to charge forward or even control them. you can still make a teammate run forward for an off the ball run, but you can't control them which ends up offside most of the time. forgot what they called it. anyway, it still is a good one to have if you don't have FIFA yet. oh i have fifa 08 too which might explain my disappointment coz honestly if it weren't for the graphics it seems the improvements on the 09 could have easily been a software upgrade for the 08 which they decided to just sell to us. Oh and I read the fifa 2010 and it's so called improvements which to me also sounds like it could have been a software upgrade than an entirely new game. i hope i see a better difference the same way EA has improved FIGht Night 4 from fight night 3.

Best of the best

by GeorgeRJ Mar 10, 2009, 12:00 PM PDT

I played Fifa series once 'Fifa Soccer 1994'. When I saw WE 6 by the first time, I put Fifa series in the garbage... But then that version 09 gone launched... I read many good comments and I decided buy Fifa more one time... incridible, fantastic... movings, graphics, sounds, arenas... all in Fifa is of a incridible reality. Buy whithout fear! Fifa 09 is near perfection. I played Fifa for 40 hours and is my unic game innegociable.

It's GREEAAAATTTTT!

This FIFA is like no FIFA before it. 09 has a great look and feel and EA has really tried hard to make this one of the most realistic soccer games on the planet, the graphics and player models are sharp, the gameplay is fast and the perfect pace (unlike 08), and the online mode is solid and very entertaining. Be a pro Mode is beastly, for 09 you can create your own player and choose to follow an established player and you can play for you country once you get good enough. Even though the gameplay and graphics are amazing, the manager mode is still the same, and not much different. If anything Fifa 09 is lacking in the manager mode, other than that the game is a must have.

4.5/5 Stars
