Dissapointing

I am a person who has loved these games from the first one but i have to say this one is a let down. Im not going to go on about the controls or anything so dont worry, i wont bore you with that.

Its simply that i first downloaded the game and wasnt keen but as i played it grew on me and now i think its quite good. Im used to the game and im good on it as always lol. But the one thing i hate is that they have taken so much away from fight night. E.g. in Legacy mode you create a boxer in qiute a limited fashion (in terms of body morphing) and once your character is created thats it, he never changes throughout the entire game. I loved how in the older ones how you could get fat and muscley depending on your training session and now you just dont. In the older ones you could change your hair n facial hair during the career mode not you just dont.

Dont get me wrong what they have done to the legacy mode is great and i think EA have done well but because of little details like that i feel it has taken some fun factors out of the game and now all it is, is fight, train badly as its soo bloody hard and fight.

Control Problem!

I love every Fight Night even this one but what I hate about this one is the controls hands down. Some things should change but some should stay the same.

Improved a lot...

Ever since the very first game, it really sucked... Until the game have improved a lot over the years of the other series!! Anyways, the game play is really good! I highly recommend this game to boxing fans out there!! (Anyways, the only boxer I like. Is always Manny Pacquiao!!!) *My Filipino boxing hero!!*

SO MUCH BETTER!!

among sport series where the next version doesn't really show much difference from it's previous version this actually feels like an entirely new game and so much better then FNR 3 on every point. a must buy.

the total punch is the best punch system ever conceived take that button mashers!!! the online fights are so challenging. best boxing game in over a decade

The best Fight Night Yet!

This is the best fight night yet! the addition of mike tyson to me is the deal maker haha. but the controls and graphics are much smoother then ever before!

ive been a huge fan of the fight night games all the way back to knockout kings but i have to sadly say that this is by far the best updated worst game ever made in the franchise ? great fighters awesome gameplay, punch selection horrible whose bright idea was it for total punch control ? straights and jabs are the punch of choice and the crazy thing is you hardly know which punch your fighter is throwing... user friendly controls nooooooooo...... release an upate which brings back button punching !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez, when will they learn

Ok full review time,

Some might say this game is wonderful, some might say this game is great... Coming from an fight night fan this game is below average

why i like the game:
the game has good grafix, and a cool sound track. there is a lot of great fighters, the game has great potential. the legecy mode is good as usual, there is depth, (alot more then ufc) the only thing i like about the online was the espn updater. fast load times nice rope physics. Announcers arent that annoying..

Why i hate the game:
Granted i only played the game for about 4 hours. but the total punch control will never be as good as fight night round 2, people like the buttons.. i do also but total punch control levels the field. the TPC is great when people use it right... Online people do not use it right... The game is suposed to be like real fighting... people should try to act like that anways.. but when i played it online all people do is throw straights and jabs and hooks... that wouldnt be so bad if you could perry easier... christ every time i would try to perry the barrage of punches i would get like 1 counter and by that time i was getting knocked out. the online is the whole reason i bought the game... there really isnt any stragity involved.. all you do is throw like 400 punches and whoever lands the most wins.. simple as that... Also there is no backing away from people throwing punches... and for some odd reason after the person throws like 400 punches there Stamina is till at full capasity... Strange... the game play in Campaign mode is similar... there really isnt any good knock out's... just like in ufc you hit the dude and he falls... plop.. simple as that. why cant that make every game like fight night round 2... that game was the best boxing game out of every one of them... the gameplay was faster... the knockouts were crazier... the game was way cooler... also i miss big tig...

To sum it up:
buy the game used so you can take it right back or rent it... the gameplay is crappy and the fun factor gets a 4 out of 10 from me ... take it how you will

The game is GARBAGE

The game is trash. How can u say its sweet science when u dont know what punch ur throwing. I brought the game the day it came out and paid about $65 for it and took it back the next day and got $20 for it but really didnt care cause it was straight trash.
