I just recently bought the game and so i haven't found anything to bad about this game.
the graphics are great and the music is outstanding. my kids love listening to the music.
the onlu thing i don't like about it is the fact you cant equip like you could in the first one and the fact that the character buson is all then great to fight with.

Attention Fans Of The First Game...

by MMX69 Jan 14, 2009, 5:12 PM PST

Let me start by saying that this game looks fantastic for a launch game. Hell, it looks fantastic period. My problem with this game is that the few things that distinguished it from Onimusha have been stripped away and left it feeling like an Onimusha clone. First, the whole equipping armour and accessories aspect has been removed. There are less weapons which is a good thing considering more than half the weapons in the original were useless, but you don't get new armour?! ***! Second, goodbye level gaining. Now you collect Amahagne only to boost your health and kumai power. That's it. Oh, and some evil energy stuff to raise your weapon's levels. Third, why do developers feel the need to add new characters to make a game feel fresh? Instead of two, now there are four characters that you can use even though two are completely useless. The girl and Buson are there (in my oppinion) to frustrate the player more than anything. Finally they changed the way you use Kumai. Instead of having to be quick with your button taps, it goes so slow that someone in a coma would have enough reflex ability to pull it off perfectly. Still, a good game with a good story and great visuals. No regrets here. Oh, and I loved Onimusha, but I enjoyed Genji: Dawn Of The Samurai better.
