Deadly and Beautiful DO Mix

by AztekSkull Nov 20, 2009, 8:04 PM PST

Heavenly Sword featured some amazing visuals, neat gameplay similar to God of War and amazing voice acting, though the best of this game are the Boss battles, and the final Boss is just AWESOME. The only thing that bothers me is that there's no signs of a second title to these series, other than that, you did a great job Ninja Theory and Sony. 4.5 out of 5.

A fun, enjoyable game that I love...

by Teazey Nov 15, 2009, 8:55 PM PST

I love this game. Seriously, I payed 50 dollars for it two years old lol. It was worth every penny. The graphics are beautiful in motion, and the character facial animations are excellent. The voice acting is superb as well. King Bohan is the best. He is a jerk, but Andy Serkis hit it dead on. The true beauty of the game though is seen in it's combat. The animations are breathtaking. The sheer number of combos is amazing. Mastering them is a big plus, because it is amazing to watch them. Truthfully I had more fun playing this than GOW. GOW is a great game, but Heavenly Sword was just more fun, and had a great story to boot. The length does not bother me. It was perfect with the story of the game. I do not mind playing it over either as I have yet to master all of the combos. The sounds are great as well. It is just too exciting to hear dudes screaming in pain as you slice, and dice through them. I just love the game. If there is not a sequel. they could at least release a collector's edition with lots of new content.

Just damn fun!

Really clever and real enjoyable game! Comes with the PS3 in Australia, if not pay the $15 second hand and it will give you hours of fun. The X-Y Axis control is also a lot of fun. Difficult levels but not impossible, sure a bit of key mashing but not the entire game.
