Just damn fun!

Really clever and real enjoyable game! Comes with the PS3 in Australia, if not pay the $15 second hand and it will give you hours of fun. The X-Y Axis control is also a lot of fun. Difficult levels but not impossible, sure a bit of key mashing but not the entire game.

A Very Good Game!

This game is a good fighting game. It is also fun controlling arrows with the controller to get enemies. The graphics is what is really impressive about this game. There isn't much replay value in this game. Overall this is a great fighting game.

My Favourite! Ever!

ah, Heavenly Sword! THIS is the game I bought the PS3 for (Are You Listening, Sony & Ninja Theory?!)...and I wasn't disappointed. Not until I heard they weren't going to develop a sequel, to which I'm still hoping they'll change their minds. Beautiful graphics & story, acted out more like an epic movie than a game, all so beautifully rendered and fun to play. A little short but when you see how pretty it is & how well the controls respond & exactly what they've put into it, that's forgivable. The characters and their facial expressions are about as close to "real" as it gets.

You play as 2 seperate characters on a series of missions. Nariko, who fights with the multi-faceted Heavenly Sword and her "adopted" little sister Kai, who wields a cool crossbow that incorporates "after touch", a slowing down of time so you can accurately hit your targets. You kick some bosses' ass, unlocking abilities as you go...and some of it gets pretty funny.

I'm Really hoping that God Of War 3 & Kratos, who is purported to be our heroine Nariko's, AKA "Goddess Of War" counterpart, whenever it finally gets here, can keep up with this, because I haven't seen anything else like it...nor has my BF, the Real gamefreak who's played for Many years, over ALL the consoles. And quite honestly, I want More! Sorry, but I won't be selling my copy any time soon at all...because for some reason, I've never tired of playing it!

Outstanding!!!

by MagnusAbattre May 10, 2009, 4:57 PM PDT

Overall gameplay was stunningly powerful with engaging control mechanincs. The programmers effectively utilized the sixaxis sensor to furhter immurse the player into the game, as if there wasn't enough character content to keep the gamer fully immursed. Bringing me to the story content...original and immaginative. I dug in on the story and felt no lack of courage or ability from the characters; for you God of War nay sayers, Nariko is a brilliantly sculpted character who's actions speak more than words, though diologue exchanges proved something more benethe the surface. Supporting cast and crew were beautifully realized and brought to life by the brilliant voice actors. Hat's off to this fantastic accomplishment of a game!
