WONDERFUL!

This game is one reason I bought a PS3 instead of Xbox 360 or Wii. I am a fan of sword fighting games and this game was that and more. I haven't ever played God of War but have seen the previews and yes it is a spin off of it. But in this game your a girl, I love this cause I am a girl. This is what drawed me to the game. She is STRONG, BEAUTIFUL, and SMART. And the graphics of this game are awsome. One of my favorit game and will never sell, I hope.

I was played this game that is very amazing, and she try to kick ass of more than 1000 men. it is pretty busy for her fight. Very great game.

Great Game

This is an awesome game with a few things that are frustrating, It takes a littlebit to get use to kai's bow. Nariko cant jump which gets annoying. other than that definatly a fun game and im hoping for a second!

hs is an awsome game. simeler to god of war but a game on its own the grapics are awsom and contorling the arrows is great only thing is its is to short hs is a game id rent beat and take back not long enofe to buy

Need more improvement...

it's a good game but not great. it's exclusive for ps3 but why it does'nt support trophies. Graphics is excellent, control sometimes can make me frustate (Nariko can't do a jump). As i said before, this game just a good game

Great game.

People keep comparing to God of War, but this game holds its own. The controls are definitely innovative, veering into the next gen contextual thing that all games are doing now. Graphically its stunning and the cut scenes are astounding. I'd suggest this for anyone who loves 3rd person adventure! it is short but I think that keeps inline with its concise and cinematic plot. Any longer and people would complain that it dragged.

One of my Personal Favorites

Heavenly Sword was one of the stronger games for the PS3 when it was first released. The production value of the game is better than anything I have seen before. The control of projectiles is excellent with the Sixaxis controller. I did not have a problem with the length of the game, but I would like to see more intuitive control of the different attacks that can be used.

Buy Nariko USED and pray for HS2

I really enjoyed this game! Yes, it is short: 6-7 hours to finish the story, but I had many WOW moments and marveled at the beauty of the game.
HS was the first game I completed on my new PS3 (May 2008). I bought it used - and it was worth the price.
The replay value is low; I unlocked HELL MODE after completing but did not bother to go through the story again. I'm going to keep it though - I loan it to friends and use it to demo the PS3's ability to make an awesome interactive movie.
Nariko will always have a place on my shelf.

Ninja Theory: please make HS2!

Good game. But, it's very short with nothing new.

God of War has changed the standard at which hack n slash games are made. This one mostly mirrors that of God of War, but unfortunately it just isn't as good or satisfying.

The cut-scenes and voice acting are top notch. But aside from that, you'll constantly be reminded of God of War and feel you are playing a generic version of that game. However, the game is good and fun. Just know that it can be beat in around 10 hours. So, take a look at your funds before purchasing this to determine whether $60 is worth 10 hours of solid entertainment.

I loved it

the game was great especially the part when you controlled the arrows. the only problem was it was way to short and not enough boss fights. i liked it a lot, i had fun with the grapple moves once you learned the controls it was very exciting to play.
