i think this game looks pretty good but the concept of dying and having to start over kinda is a turn off.. if there were checkpoints itd be better but yeaa. oh well. the game still looks good.

Once I trade in my Wii and get a PS3 this fall, this is one of the games I am looking forward to the most. You are flat-out dumb if you do not buy this game if you have a PS3!

Seems awesome but 1 little concearn

I really am fascinated how this game is going to turn out but the concept of dying and its over for your character and you move on might be a hassle.... I mean sometimes you want to see how the story plays out for this one character, but you accidentally get killed.....so you have to immediately quit the game and do it over again, they should add a "restart from checkpoint" and have a second option of "move on"... then everything would be awesome. Go HEAVY RAIN!!

I've been a fan of David Cage since Omikron the Nomad Soul, I'm sure this game will prove to be worthwhile and somewhat of a hit so I hope they choose to create some creative DLC content as well!!

Must get

Heavy rain will bring a whole new genre to the gaming world. The fact that everything you do has a consequence and that the game will keep going even if you lose some of the main characters is mind blowing. have this game on pre-order if you want it day one it will go fast i'm sure.

Hands down just absolutley amazing. No reason to not buy Heavy Rain unless your just a complete FPS meathead. Really hope there's some kind of special/limited edition, AND!!! PS3 exclusive, we keep only the best for ourselves.

60+ Endings. 4 characters. One helluva game.

Although Heavy Rain hasn't been released yet, I've seen all I need to see to prove that Heavy Rain is a day-one purchase.
You shape the story. Every action has either a direct or indirect consequence.
Imagine for a minute that you're a police chief. You suddenly decide to drop one case. You get affected because you might be questioned why you did, while a NPC cop might be sad/angry because he was close to solving it.

The graphics look amazing, too. You see every detail, from the way the character's eyes flutter around in their sockets, to the individual weave patterns in a suit, to the cracks and wear of an old building. I even mistook a character for a real life picture. They're that good.

The music in the trailers is excellent, too. Fast paced, thriving tones really capture the theme of the game.

What I'm trying to say is, this game is awesome. You'd be a fool to not get it.
