Really enjoy this game. Great new spin to the puzzle game industry.

More of the same...

If you've played either of the PSP Lumines games, you've played this. The puzzles and missions are identical, and many of the skins and music are recycled from it as well. The addition of the new Dig Down mode is a plus, but they left out the vs. CPU mode. Only a purchase for Lumines addicts and those without the other versions.

Just as addictive...

by ComancheNative Jan 17, 2009, 5:29 PM PST

Lumines supernova is as addictive as the first but defiantly more challenging. The trophy system turned my casual gameplay experience into a more focused puzzle challenge. With more skins and slightly more distracting backgrounds to add to the experience, I have to recommend this puzzle game to anyone wanting a good challenge

All i could ask for would be downloadable music and more skins..

Good Fun!

by Davethedog Jan 5, 2009, 3:57 PM PST

All in all it is great fun. Graphics are crisp and gameplay is fun and challenging.

Very happy with my purchase except for two things and one could be a deal breaker. The first complaint is that I would prefer more aggressive electronic music with more drum and bass or breakbeat. I haven't played all skins so my opinion may change on this. The second complaint is that I can't seem to beat my wife! Now you decide which could be deal breaker… wife or fairy-like music. I do see potential for DLC; possibly tracks lists from well known electronic music artists so I guess that would make the wife the deal breaker. Oh well, at least I can school her in any FPS on the market.
