Good game

by Jwarrior2 Apr 12, 2009, 3:01 PM PDT

the graphics, story, voice acting are all very top notch. After playing through most of this game i can say that it is grossly underrated. the controls do take some getting used to but once u do it adds to the whole experience (actually i tried using the analog controls and they were way harder than the sixaxis controls) all in all definately a must play game for ps3 owners.

Lair is a must own for the PS3!!

by hanvy82 Mar 5, 2009, 4:34 PM PST

I bought this game not too long ago and found it to be a wonderful experience. The air combat, ground combat, and mission variety are awesome. The only thing that keeps this game from being a 5/5 is that it is sometimes hard to see which of the hundreds of dragons in the air are on your team. Even with the "dragon" sight it was hard to find some objectives. Other than that I am proud to own this great game.

Loved it and Hope for a Sequel!

I hadn't even heard of this game until a friend gave it to me for Christmas. I love dragons and I was hesitant because I'd just played a horrible dragon game not long ago. (Avoid Drakan: Ancient Gates at ALL Cost).

I fell in love with this games because they controls were easy to adapt to. I've heard people complain but I've had no problems. To me it always seemed natural if you're riding a horse, you move the reins to one side or nudge it in the side, this is just the virtual version of that. (For those who don't know, you tilt the sixaxis controller to control the dragon in the air.) Those who've had problems can fix it with the new Dragon and Control Pack downloadable from the Playstation Store.

This game has wonderful graphics, voice acting, score and story line. It pushes the bar for PS3 games to follow.

Hated It.

I should have known that being on the back of a dragon would not make this any better than your standard flight game. The story line sounded good, but if you don't like flight simulators they the midevil draw of the dragons won't do anyting for you.

Pretty Cool

by JD7078 Jan 17, 2009, 2:05 PM PST

I agree with the other reviews regarding the controls. The only reason it got so many bad reviews (like gameinformer) is because the retards playing the game didn't have a clue what they were doing. I mean comon the game begins with a turtorial and even offers them between each mission so you can get them down at your own pace! The game is very unique and interesting. The graphics are just...WOW...that is all I can say about those. Take some time and learn how it is played. You'll like it quite a bit if you know what your doing. The only downside is the dragon does not fly very fast. But the rest of the game makes up for it.
