I've been looking at this game on youtube.com and at first the game was kind of turn off. But, after seeing what this game is really about it started moving around in my head. I mean, I will say this and that I was on the CoD and Halo bandwagon. However though! My opinion is completely bias. From the experience I've had with MAG this game is doing what CoD and Halo and any other multi-player FPS are trying to achieve. You have to really work as a team. Have someone who is best suited for the job. Like if your best friend is a sniper and has been loving the way how sniping is in this game, then you have your sniper. You need some ground and pounders on the battlefield right? Well find someone who is best for the job. You need medics and other classes that are best suited for the situation. Don't need a repair kit on Suppression (TDM), or anti-tank mines.
Now for the character creation part of the game all you can do is really just pick a face and voice for your character. After that you can change their armor. For snipers they should be wearing the lightest armor so that the weight wont slow them down while moving from different positions.
You really have to adjust your play style from other FPS cause its all about objectives. You get rewarded for killing an enemy player from the defending target. Like in Domination, Sabotage, and Acquisition. That's how you really level up in this game. Kill and enemy while in the destined objective you'll get +5 exp heal a team who's bleeding out, you'll get 10 exp plus another 5exp if I remember correctly.
Its a lot to talk about in this game, but you will need team work and by team work. Not just having one person getting into the objective and then you expect him to hold it against, maybe about 10+ enemies. Cause it wont nice, yea some of them might get killed from Team Killing but you wont walk away a happy camper. So, really give the game a try. It's really up to you, cause really if you want to see more stuff in the form of DLC then go and support the game. In my opinion this game has done what no other game has done and that's put the focus on team work no Ramboo and win some how. Team work is key and communication is key as well. Enjoy my long review. ^_^
