Utterly Dissappointing

I have obtained the BETA for the game and I have played several games online. The controls are far from smooth and the graphics are comparable to a game from the original Playstation. I had extremely high expectations for this game but I am utterly disappointed. I will more than likely cancel my preorder because I will definitely not pay 60 dollars for this game. The 256 players isn't even enough to save it in my opinion. Most of the time you only see about 8 people on the map at once anyways because that is your squad, its almost as if the remaining players do not exist because you will not encounter them regularly, if at all. Had the potential to be a great game, but just didn't measure up.

wow 256!!!!

256 players online is crazy much i doubt there will always be enough players online to playy it. and i think this is the game with the proximity chat i dont remember. but for those of you trashing the prox chat its really a great thing because it makes it more realistic and itll make ppl quieter on their mics so they wont be give away i think proximity chat should be in all games. oh and does any1 know what its going to be rated?

Great game but potential setback

The game is wonderful: decent graphics, good action, huge maps, plus the 256 players. I love the skill trees and command structure. The potential setback I see is the game requiring a high subscription to play plus any future add-on purchases. Can the game really survive large fees to play with other similar games grasping for the same market? I hope they think of the community since as the game gets older, fewer people will be paying. Then what's the use of 256 player maps?

256 players! That's awesome

Wow I was shock when my friend told me the news about this game after that I started to
search about this game and it's cool with 256 players that very many but the only problem is when only a few will buy this and it will be lack of players i' m wondering if it's gonna lag
wish not and it's only available on PS3 and PS3 rocks. I think the graphics of throwing grenades sucks because when you throw it the grenade is still in your hand but the rest it is so cool but it is only a beta I wish you will fix it. There's 3 PMC the Raven, Valor and the S.V.E.R.

mag will set new standards for multiplayers

Awesome game with much potential. its going to set the new standard for online multiplayer games. JUST FROM MY EXPERIENCE PLAYING THE BETA ITS A 10 OUT OF 10.
only a few small issues that probably will be worked out but this is going to be the biggest, most popular multiplayer yet. some of the other popular series titles will look to this game in the future for designing their onine multiplayer.
i have been waiting for a big multiplayer game to come since warhawk. if you like warhawk you will LOVE this ....well maybe the warhawk pilots wont lol. i do not play campaign or co-op in games so the more people playing online the better :-) the bigger the maps and the more that can play online the better.

Why can't it be January 2010 yet!!!

I have watched trailers, looked at screenshots, gone to their website about a zillion times and i have one word. Awesome

I upgraded my internet since my last review and it works great. With 256 players online this will make all other online FPS games look like wimps(except for Killzone 2 and Modern Warefare 2). I haven't preorderd it yet so I haven't played the beta but I don't have to. I allready know that this game in gonna rock online servers everywhere.
Allthough January 2010 is still a ways away we have Modern Warefare 2, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2(I KNOW ITS NOT A FPS GAME BUT IT ROCKS!!!!) and the MAG beta to play while we wait. Have fun with your other games and beta and good luck.

MAG will be the key to kill Xbox

I've played COD for a very long time now but 256 players this is the new war game and just because i've seen so many awesome comments and great rewives i am going to preorder it right now

Oh and just to mention it there is more than one host

all my friends who have Xbox i feel sad for you your missing out

Only SVR skins for preorder?

Argh. A month or 2 ago they were giving special skins for all PMC's when you preorder at gamestop, but now it's just SVR.

Greatest game I ever played!

At first when I heared about this game i thought that this is
just another game which going to be overcrowded (256 players).
But after every time I played the beta I just couldn't wait until the
servers will open up again.
The hugh maps were awasome, there were almost no bugs
AND NO LAGS AT ALL!
Every time that you play you can see how much the team work
is important and helpful!
can't wait till the release date!

Outstanding

This looks to be one of the greatest shooters of all time.
Can't wait till full release. Don't know all to much about it, williamr27 does though.
So gonna get it. JifferRifiic doesn't know squat about this game, but williamjr27 does. Read his review.
