Worst madden ever- madden 2010 suppose to be better I hope!!

I;ve been playing madden since ps to ps2 to ps3 and yeah the graphics are better and all but the game itself had too many faults. The commentary put me to sleep i mean Chris wasn't terrible but the other guy sucked bring madden back, and i think too much time was spent on the little stuff. Like this other guy said too many glitches how about making it glitch free. And there is one think I hate the most is when whether it me or the other team if some caught the ball out of bounds on the white line and when u reviewed it and it was called a catch when clearly it wasn't. Not to mention no online franchise. Now the brought that back in the new one but i hope they fix the other things, and of course like everyone else I'm gonna buy the new every year but come on EASPORTS make us feel that we got our moneys worth. The game should be perfect, next years is said to have pregame views of fans and halftime shows but how about stuff like late hits i use to love that and maybe the coach grabing a player and yelling at him now stuff like that would be awesome I think

Glitchers taking over a great game...

It always takes them a few months but the glitchers have finally taken over what could be a great game. My favorite/most obvious glitch is one that SWGLEADER210 likes to pull on people in which he sits there and calls audibles rapidly until, all of a sudden, his QB just takes off running down the field before the ball is snapped. As soon as the clock runs down you think he's going to get a delay of game penalty but instead find that the QB was just credited with scoring a TD. It's sad and lame what people do to this game just so they can get a few wins. I've had my most fun gaming experiences playing this game online in the first few months before the glitchers/cheaters figure out how to destroy it, looks like Madden 2009's days have come to an end.

Roster update?

Does anyone know if there will be a roster update for 09 with the new rockie class, or will they just wait for 10?

Not my favorite Madden

I was kind of dissapointed when I got Madden 09 figuring it would be better than 08. I was wrong.. The defense on 09 is terrible and the franchise mode in 08 is a lot more in depth. I hope Madden 2010 is better because im definitely trading in 09 for it.

Best Madden since 93

This madden year was probably the best one in quite some time. I remember playing 93 and it was impressive but there has been so much change in game play since those days it's like comparing Brett Favre to Joe Namath, there is so much change in the game. The biggest one for me is online game play, I ranked as high as top 1k at one point and really wasn't sure what was the enticing part of the game, trophies are a thing that interest me into other games and this didn't offer it, maybe next year. But I could tell you there was some tough parts about the game, the online play was excellent but you could manipulate it to win no matter what if you could atleast put points on the board. Other aspects of the game included a poor defense, the computer plays bad d and it's hard to play online with poor d. I think there are a few players that are over rated and double teaming the wide outs doesn't seem to help. I found the game highly addictive though like all maddens and a great way to say wow madden is amazing. Best sports series ever

The Defense Sucks

I am not being bias here. I love this franchise but since there has not been another NFL title out there, the series is struggling from their lack of wanting to greatly improve the game.

My main issue is that the offense is too good. Someone of Trent Dilfer's skill and a rookie 75 overall reciever should never beat someone like Asante Samuel, Ed Reid, or Champ Baily. Dilfer should not be able to have 500+ yards and several 50+ yrd bombs in a single game against a defense that is ranked 95 overall. This is a serious issue I hope they address in the next game.

i'm glad brett favre is in the new Madden i've been playing this game for a while and i'm a huge football fan and Madden fan. but awesome job.

MADDEN STILL THE BEST

Madden is still the greatest football game ever, every year somethings are good and some bad. I wish you could have the option to change the gameplay controls on either offense and defense. Maybe some better trick plays like a flea flicker, end around, or wildcat??? In the madden test the runner does always break the tackle, and when you build your IQ up it always goes back to 500.

The Best Pro Football Game Yet

Madden 09 lets you do everything you could possibly do good playing a football game. It has real life animations that are likely to take place during the game and after the game. The graphics are pretty sweet. After 2005 madden I started not to like madden,b ut this madden 09 has sure brought me back into playing madden football again.

Touchdown!

Im pretty surprised at how good Madden 09 is.The thing that will wow you the most is how good the graphics are,especially in HD.Everything from the weather to the players to the stadiums to the new lighting all look good.The fans look ok but not what you would expect for a next-gen game.The all-new Madden IQ may be the best feature because now the CPU adapts to your skill level.And John Madden does a great job explaining everything to you in the virtual training center.It may sound creepy(it didn`t to me)but its really a cool feature.You can work on your offense and defense.But in the Rush D drill the ball carrier always breaks the tackles!The soundtrack is good and the new commentary booth is pretty good but not great.The thing that really holds the game back though is the buggy franchise mode.I havent played Franchise because of the bugs and Superstar mode is boring.The Madden Moments are fun but some are rediculously hard.The game should also have ESPN interigation.Overall its one of the greatest football games of all-time,but doesnt quite get the full 5 starts.
