The only reason this game gets a 1 1/2 star is because it does manage to implement some cool stuff into a sports game. The game, however, sucks really bad, especially when compared to NBA 2K9. The game has several bugs in it, one of the most common being the AI and it's lack of the "Intelligence". Several times in short games, the AI unit will have the ball and instead of passing it to the wide open guy, will sit there, and cause a turnover. Then there's the fact you can pretty much make a 3 pointer over and over if you have the right character. Oh, and one of my favorites, the instant run. If you hold turbo down, you can literally go from 0-60 without a speed up run or anything. This game is total crap and shouldn't be touched by anyone.

this game is better nba 2k9

i love this gamae because it the life and it sweet this game blow away 2k9 by far way. the gameplay might not be good buy still i would take this game over 2k9. the grach might not good but i like it i trade nba 2k9 and got this so i got nba live09 nba 09 the inside them to is the best basketball game on ps3

Worst game EVER

I HAVE A SOLUTION TAKE THE ROAD TO THE SHOW SYSTEM AND APPLY TO BASKETBALL....THE Story modes suck, you play like 2min here, 2 min there, but your guy has played the whole game??***??? The rest of the game was pretty sweet how you build up players you created and franchise mode. What happened to the great games that were on the ps2 system? Why have games like this and madden totally dropped the ball on next gen. consoles???????Anyone?

What a lode of CENSORED this game is like having a bull dog biting your CENSORED and also this has nothing to do with the game but go on www.ScrewAttacks.com and no I am not part of screwattacks but im a fan.

This game is the worst sports game i ever played!!! its all FULL OF IT!!
The reaction of the players is so slow... limited moves.. every players can cross over, spin move, no luck pass, etc in this game.. i was crossing players with SHAQ!!! WHAT THE HELL>>>???

no updates of the rosters! whats up with that??? the play calling is so behind that you can foul someone... for example a charging.. see the player fall, drive two more steps and then dunk the ball and then get the call!!! you dont even know whats going on!

this is the worse sport game i have ever played!

i purchase this game, played it for a couple of hours.. gor bored. i went to Gamespot thinking i was gonna get at least half of what i paid for this game!! I WAS WRONG! they didnt even offer me $15 bucks...

i have this game at home just collecting dust! who knows.. maybe one day im gonna use it to balance a chair or a table!

Not good.

This game pretty much sucks.It copied Live 09 with the NBA Re-wind games and has no new game modes really.Yeah it has the D-Leagues but big deal Live 09 has the FIBA teams.The TNT coverage is good though the commentary could be better.When it says its available in 1080p HD dont be fooled.Even in HD the graphics look awful.Not one player in the game looks like he does in real life.The colors are very dark and online play sucks.The Life doesnt have any new stories I mean its ok but its short.The game doesnt even update the rosters like Live 09 and 2K9 do.Sure the game has trophies but that doesnt really make a difference.The saying "Nothing gets you closer" doesnt apply to this game.Well I guess it does...nothing gets you closer to a bad basketball game.Sorry Sony.Keep trying.I still have faith in you that you will make a good basketball game.

NBA 09 The Inside is the best Basketball game to hit the shelves in 2009. The feature that makes this game so good is the story line it has. The game originated from the life Vol. 4. The story line lets you take the NBA from the streets to the D-League and finally in the NBA go get it. Also ANYONE WHO KNOWS SOMEONE WITH AN XBOX 360 TELL THEM TO PUT THAT CRAP DOWN AND GET PICK UP THE PLAYSTATION 3. ALL THE 360 HAS TO OFFER IS BETTER GRAPHICS THAN THE REGULAR XBOX AND MORE MEMORY SPACE THAN THE REGULAR XBOX WITH A NEW DESIGN STRUCTURE. THE PS3 HAS BOTH OF THOSE CARISTERISTICS WITH BETTER GAMES BETTER GRAPHICS THAN THE XBOX 360, BLU-RAY AND A BIGGER HARD DISK PLUS MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's fun, and that's what matters.

(Keeping it brief) I enjoy playing this game, it might not have the most realistic phyics, but it's fun. The Life is also an interesting game mode, the story's are short, but the cutscenes are fun to watch have have great voice acting. The mini games are also great, Own the Court, 3pt contest, Playstation Skills challenge, Rabbit etc.

But what it comes down to is fun, I don't care if the animation sequences look awkward sometimes, the game is fun to play.
