Still playing well after a year...

by Amir29 Dec 03 2008 05:05 PM

I know NHL 09 is out and is said to be even better. But why bother buying it? I'm still loving this game. I've just completed my third season in franchise mode and I still want to start another.

This game is extremely accessible and a lot of fun for everyone. Online is lag free and till today there is still plenty of people to play online. AI is top notch, and anything you don't like about the games settins and tendencies can be changed with sliders. The franchise mode isn't the deepest, but it's still quite fun. The only issue I'm having is how difficult it is to score a goal against the cpu. Otherwise, everything feels solid and fun.

All of this is being said to you from a guy who's never completed a season in a sports video game until the PS3 came along. I highly recommend this for everyone.
