A fun game

Love this game, have a question though

I love this game, its growing on me but the only frustrating issue is the game controls itself, they wont allow you key map or put the buttons you want for the selected actions.

I have questions about the be a pro mode and the enhancements you can make you your player. I'd like to know if any of the categories are defined as to how they enhance your player.

Anybody care to assist?

KingzOfHWD needs help

Ok I bought this game i love hockey games and this one looks amazing..BUT I CANT USE THE CONTROLS that are pre set..i want to customize make X to pass and O to shoot and so forth Ive been in the controller settings but for some reason I cant get to do it? SOMEONE HELP :)

Great Game!

Playing this game is the best! The way the makers set out all the controls was in my point of view as genius! When picking a fight with another player I prefer the 08 controls. I like how you have to use the analog stick for fighting instead of pushing buttons. It's really all about who is faster with their thumbs. On 09 it seems like a win or loss in a fight depends on who the hockey player is. Over all I rate this game 5/5!

Best EA Sports yet!

As a 30-something gamer, I've been a huge fan of the EA NHL franchise for a long time. Best one yet and quite possible the best EA Sports game right now. Very smooth gameplay and tons of user moves. Doesn't take long to get familiar with the controls. The instant replays after every stoppage are a little annoying but you can get right past them. Also the fighting is lacking a little but is still cool. Definitely put this one on your list.

BEST SPORTS GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!

honestly the gameplay is smooth the new controls are extremely clever and you get used to them in a second. honestly believe this is the best sports game of the year and iv got Madden, fifa and NBA. im english and this is my faviorite sports game iv ever played better than fifa i cant believe im sayin that and im english can be played both by experienced players who now about rosters and line changes and by rookies who like the fights but yea i thought it was fantastic.
