If you like Tower Defense you will like this.

by True_Mana_Beast Mar 26, 2009, 4:26 PM PDT

Ok this a great download from the psn, it is a classic TD game although unlike a over view where you move with a mouse, hand, ect you have a turtle guy who runs over the map from place to place setting up your towers and also he collects the coins when you defeat enemies, which is new but annoys me. There is a good supply of towers, but the varity of enemies is a little lacking. The graphics do what I ask which is if you make 2d graphics make them great and I love games with 2d graphics so i am a happy camper. There are quite a few levels esspecially if you buy the encore expansion and some trophy challenges to boot. Don't be fooled by it's cute apperance though it can be difficult in the later stages which I personally liked, even if it did frustrate me at times.

Very easy to play and ADDICTING!

by Fatal_Faith Jan 30, 2009, 1:54 PM PST

This game is by far one of the most addicting games that I have played since Tetris. The game play is simple to understand and easy to follow along with. The music during all the levels is very catchy and makes you want to dance along with the main character. I love this game and can't wait for the PSP version to come out soon!

Amazing

by wkahornet Jan 12, 2009, 1:37 AM PST

My suite-mate bought this game taking a gamble that it might be fun. We fought over who got to play. Eight of us sat in one small room watching while two moved through the levels, gripped to the tv. You can't explain why it is so fun, but it just is. This game expands upon a classic, and is well worth every cent. Make more expansion packs!

Pixel Junk ROCKS!!

by TheBananastrings Dec 24, 2008, 9:31 PM PST

This a wonderful Real Time Strategy title for the PS3. Deceptively hard & a wonderful art style. You'll be playing for hours on end to develop the appropriate strategy for each level.

You find it quite a challenge to get those RAINBOWS!! Fans will know what I'm talking about.

Download today & give it a try.

ROCK ON!!

Rain down some pain on your monster foes

by kills_fer_FUN Dec 16, 2008, 4:32 AM PST

Monsters from pixeljunk, is a devilishly cute and addictive game. Once you start building your defenses, the appeal is obvious and rewarding. Protect your peeps from wave after wave of soul freeing monsters. I not only enjoyed playing every level, i found myself playing and replaying each one, until i defeat the stage without losing any people. (known as a rainbow) I love building the diffrent towers and seeing which ones do damage to the assorted monsters. It can be challenging at times, sometimes the monsters have shields, and sometimes they just move really fast. I found that Monsters pulled me in and kept me wanting more until the wee hours of the morn. I recomend this game to anyone who likes a good strategy game, and it may even appeal to platformer fans as well. Do yourself a favor and fight off the monster invasion with Monsters by pixeljunk, near unlimited gameplay well worth the ten bucks.
