Singstar online store is whack and so is the service.

The game itself is good. However, downloading games from the network is pretty bad. The song selection is bad, the service is bad and some of the videos are pretty bad. I own both the original Singstar and the Queen singstar and since updating my system with the singstar update I have has some problems with most of the song either I get an error message saying "usage rights" or the songs are just completely gone from my song collection. I had several of friends come over to have a singstar party only to find out most of my songs were missing or inaccessable. This is very frustrating and disappointing. Hopefully they can resolve this issue. However, resolving the issue of having better song selection in the online store is highly unlikely. I have had my original singstar for over a year now and the garbage songs they keep putting in it online store is simply terrible.
That is all I have to say I am tired of wasting my time with this!

hmmmmm

I can't sing all that well. But love the game!
Overall the game is great!
But when it comes to the online features, I'm always timed out with "Error SS7, or SS6"
And I don't know how many tmes I try to show people the game online, and I can't connect.
And with the song selections available online in north america compared to the UK. It's very disapointing.
And the fact we have just a few singstar games in North America, and Europe seems to have tons!
If these 3 issues were adressed, 5 stars for sure!!!

I agree, it is about time

I love Queen. Always have, always will. I've been looking online via SingStar to download any of there songs but I couldn't find them. I think they were only available on SingStar overseas. Anyway, I'm buying this right now. I know almost all of these songs and can sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" word for word. My 16 year old daughter even knows the song. I have almost all the SingStar videos but this one will be my favorite.

It's about time

I was waiting for the singstar franchise to release something that would be enough to tempt me to finally try it. You finally did it. Queen is one of Brittans most legendary rock artists this side of The Beatles. You will instantly know who this group is the instant you hear the opening chords of Bohemian Rhapsody. Test your might trying to sing note for note with their fun loving flamboyant frontman Freddie Mercury. It is quite a hard task but will prove to be lots of fun especially if you love the music. Definite must buy for Queen fans and rock music fans everywhere.
