Well there might be some misconseption regarding the game's graphics and overall appeal after owning for few weeks, and its been heard by X-Box 360 and PS3 owners.
Although, many gamers encounter these feelings toward many games especially since its a highly anticipated game. Some gamers have been criticizing claiming it to be boring throughout time, but the truth is, they haven't actually took a good look at it. The graphics are the same for both consoles.
Now the game itself...
Those who are not familiar with the Soul Calibur series, such as me, won't have such a good expierienced at start, but will learn to enjoy it over time.
The gameplay is very balanced and diverse, I personally enjoy it more than Tekken.
The characters are highly detailed and are easily to adust to.
The Star Wars characters are proven to be as suitable guest characters.
Although, since they possess "Force Gauges", the amount of combos you can pull of are limited based the amount energy you have in them.
The Character Creation mode could have included are larger selection of content to personalized your character more excessively.
The graphics are impressive, but unlike other games, it displayed a slightly different resolution and detail on different TVs. But thats nothing to complain about.
I wished there were more cut scenes in stead of just one at the end of finishing a character's story mode.
Overall, its a great game, its something you should check out.
I give it a 9.3
