Way better than i was expecting.

Uncharted came in a bundle with my 160GB PS3, and I knew nothing about it. I wasn't expecting much from Drake, and his little group of fortune hunters. In my experiences with games that come with a console, it seems that most of the time it's just a mediocre game that you get just encase you can't afford a newer one when you get the console. That was definitely not the case with Uncharted. It took me a while to actually get to playing the game because I bought Metal Gear Solid 4 along with my PS3 and just had to play it first. MGS4 was pretty much my reason for buying a PS3. So Uncharted sat on the shelf while i played MGS4 non stop for a couple weeks, until I finally convinced my self to give MGS4 a break and sit down with Uncharted. I was instantly surprised. Not by the graphics although they are pretty good, but by the game play and dialogue. Uncharted has a great feel to it. The main character actually has a personality, making sarcastic comments that I would make in the same situation. The story along with the voice acting really pulls you in. Plus Uncharted comes with a few little "making of" extras that are cool to watch. Especially the motion capture stuff. It's just cool to see. This is definitely one of the best exclusive titles for the PS3. This game came out in 2007 and it's better than a lot of the 2008-2009 games I've played. Don't get Uncharted 2 later this year without playing this one first, my only other "Must Have" PS3 exclusive besides MGS4.
