Pure Dogfight Action!

by AztekSkull Nov 20, 2009, 7:43 PM PST

Wow, just wow, the moment I first got into a Warhawk, it was amazing! And not only that, Jeeps, Tanks, Rocket Packs, Placed Turrets! NOWHERE TO HIDE! One of the best online multiplayer games ever! And even though Incognito is no more with us, a dedicated team (LightBox Interactive) took the trouble to provide us with not 1, not 2, but 3 awesome map packs! For your dedication on making this game almost perfect, 5 out of 5. Incognito (R.I.P), LightBox Interactive and Sony, thanks again.

Smooth Game, Great Online Multiplayer

by WarlordofMenace Nov 14, 2009, 11:31 AM PST

To be hoenst it really isn't perfect, the gameplay is just smooth, the controls take a while to get used to, finding matches is just perfect, the maps are nice, the game itself is smooth. My only complaint is that when you use a Warhawk plane, you can pretty much die in like 2-4 hits with missles and you are dead. This can get frustrating and for people who are trying to learn how to play the game.

Excellent Game!

by FireAlchemist Oct 3, 2009, 6:54 AM PDT

This game has the best to offer out of all shooters out there today imho. Easy for beginners and not over-complicated, Vehicles of all flavors for everyone's preference, The ability to use ALL the weapons on the map without kits, original playing modes (such as hero), and just plain fun. I've had this game for over a year now, and I still laugh and get exited when I play. Lack of story mode was a non-issue for me, this game is all about the multiplayer.

Hope there is a sequel in the cards.

Amazing!

by jethawk111222333 Sep 18, 2009, 1:27 PM PDT

I honestly think this is the best game I have ever played in my life! It has amazing quality and graphics and it is a all around fun game. You can play with friends in Tanks,4x4s,Warhawks,Turrets,and Even new add ons like the amazing Dropship and APC. Or if you prefer on foot you can do that too with bazookas, rifles, snipers, gernades, flamethrowers,or you can even call in a air strike with the binocs! This game is an amazing game and i recomend this game for all ages!

Flying under fire is very exciting

by Pretender2545 Aug 31, 2009, 8:47 AM PDT

Warhawk is a 32 player online battle that contains modes of death match, team death match, capture the flag, zones, hero and collection. The last three are creative games but fun nevertheless. This is the type of game that is simple to play but hard to master. It has all the action of a regular 32 player slugfest, but in terms of gunplay, its very easy to understand. Unlike games like socom, this game has 8 different weapons (not hundreds to try and memorize) and you can hold every single one of them. You start off with a one hit kill knife and a lowly pistol. In close combat both those weapons are very lethal. But you also have automatic rifles (aka machine guns), flame throwers, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, grenades, prox/healing mines, and air strikes. Each weapon is balanced and theres really no need to think one is better than the other. The flame thrower can finish an opponent off easily, but has very limited range. The automatic rifle is rather weak but has longer range, the rocket launcher is deadly and can cause splash damage but is hard to determine where an enemy can be due to the fact that it has no lock on. The sniper rifle is fun but is hard to hit a moving target and hardly anyone stays still in this game. In deathmatch, its a kill or be killed type of mode where you have no allies. Team is deathmatch only with people working together. CTF is a team based game in which the one with the most flag caps wins. Hero is won by a hero (picked randomly) kills other people or the hero of the other team. Zones is when you capture and hold outposts to score points. And collection is when you pick up "cores" and bring them back to team base without getting killed to score points. Flying a warhawk is an extremly enoyable expirience and you feel good after killing another player inside a warhawk. But, I do have several gripes about this game. For instance, the network isn't completly stable. Knifes and grenades seem to phase right through the enemy, very poor balancing system, and my personal favorite is when players are able to jump an insane number of times. The rank system is really bad, and the dlc is rediculously priced. But my gripes are not enough to make me hate this game.
