cool, but somewhat of a let down

Let me first say that I absolutely adored Linger in Shadows. As such, I was really excited for .deTuned. While it's fun to play with for a bit, I don't really see a need to revisit it after getting all the trophies. It's too bad, because it seems like a missed opportunity.
The various audio filters are definitely fun to play with, but a center/vocal remover, stereo field inverter, and 24-bit/96khz upscaling filter (like Creative's Xmod does) would have kept me in the game longer just to keep hearing different 'mixes' of songs I liked. It also would have been nice if I could have inserted a CD into the PS3 and had the game detect/rip it automatically.
The background animations and characters don't seem to move in any way that's related to the music. It's definitely looks really cool, but once you've seen it for a bit, there's no reason to keep trying new songs to see how the background/characters react.
All in all, it's still worth it for the money because of the easy trophies, one of which is a gold. If you don't care about trophies, I would skip it until they add a little more content.
Can't wholly recommend, try Linger in Shadows, flOw, or Flower instead.
