Awesome story line and play

by Wilumm Oct 28, 2009, 2:51 PM PDT

The story line of the game is really good..especially the ending (hehehe). Game lasts longer if played on the hardest level. The super powers are awesome!! Nice to have a game like this you can free roam...everywhere.

normal man super powers

by Super_Soldier_13 Oct 25, 2009, 3:27 PM PDT

thats Cole. i think that is why this is a great game. this might be my second ps3 game (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be my first since im getting my ps3 after it comes out). it looks grreat because you can just free roam and climb the city like you should of been able to do in the spiderman games. i give this game a 4.5 because i think they should have let you free roam around everywhere not just the city

Raising the bar

by Zachzilla53 Oct 24, 2009, 7:57 PM PDT

When I was selecting my first PS3 game I looked towards Fallout3. My dad(im 16) suggested inFamous based on reviews, and after he talked me out of Fallout, I got inFamous. The first time I died constantly. That's when i realized I was on hard, and I just wasn't using my environment efficiently. So after lowering the difficulty, and began to master the controls, it was/is a really fun. There's story missions as well as side missions based on good and evil status which, at a certain part of completion, takes over territory which becomes safe area. You're given the option to make decisions which makes Cole good or evil. You can upgrade your powers using points you get while fighting and collecting "blast shards". You also gain new abilities as you complete the game. The theme of the story is pretty good, and its loaded with tons of gameplay hours. So I'd say its a must have game, and raises the bar for top PS3 game.

Just so much fun!

by Korbei83 Oct 16, 2009, 11:31 AM PDT

Once I started playing inFamous, I didn't want to stop. It's a unique third person shooter with style to spare. Run, jump, climb, glide, the city is your playground and the fun just doesn't stop.

!!!

This game by far is the best game i have ever played. I am playing as a HERO and as INFAMOUS. Evil seems to have a better storyline. This game is a must buy!

The first true comic book hero game?

by Yoxiv9000 Sep 30, 2009, 7:55 PM PDT

Bold to say, especially as the game isn't based on any existing IP. But inFAMOUS does right what so many other comic book inspired games have tried for years, creat the feeling of being in control of a superhero and having the freedom to be either savior in a forsaken city, or the bane of a town left to rot.

You control Cole, a bike courier whose life is turned upside down, inside out, and shattered to pieces when a devasting explosion goes off and tears out a hunk chunk of Empire City, and yet he survives it. Granted an ever evolving power over electricity, Cole is given the choice to save his home or destroy any who stand in his way.

Tight controls and an ambient soundtrack *though there are some odd instances of the music dropping out*, inFAMOUS is everything comic book could ever want in a game since the Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and the recent Batman: Arkham Asylum.

So the choice is up to you: Be a hero? Or be inFAMOUS?
