Go online with PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and stay connected
to your friends. Send or receive messages, do voice/video chat, manage your profile,
your friends� list and the rest of your account through the PLAYSTATION®Network.

Sign
Up for a Free PLAYSTATION®Network Account
To start using the Friends category,
you first need to sign up for a free PLAYSTATION®Network account. See 
(Sign
Up) under the 
(friends)
category.
Friends Features
Once
you’re online and signed up with the PLAYSTATION®Network, you can
use all the features listed under the Friends category.
- Sign
In/Sign Out
Once you sign in, you can do voice/video chat,
online gaming and send or receive messages. When you sign out,
you are offline from PLAYSTATION®Network.
- Friends
List*
Add friends so you can check their current online
status and send and receive messages.
- Voice/Video
Chat List
Chat with people on your Friends list.
- Message Box
Create
new messages and view received and sent messages.
- Block
List
Add a person to your block list if you no longer want
to receive messages from that person. The messages will not be delivered.
