Internet Radio

Access thousands of radio stations on your PSP®


How To

  • Download and install firmware update 3.80 (or later).
  • Ensure you are in a Wi-Fi environment before attempting use.
  • With Memory Stick Duo™ media inserted into the PSP® system, select the Internet Radio icon under Network, and then select "About Internet Radio".
  • Click "Add Player." Select "Adding the player to the Memory Stick Duo™ and press the X button.
  • When you have added the Internet Radio player, the player icon will appear under the "About Internet Radio" icon.
  • Select the icon for the desired Internet Radio player.
  • Choose a genre and select a station.
Listening to Internet Radio
  1. Insert Memory Stick Duo™ media containing the Internet radio player into the PSP® system.
  2. Select the Internet radio player that you want to use from internet radio (Internet Radio) under network (Network).

    The system will connect to the Internet.

  3. Select [Yes] at the screen that displays the message, "Do you want to run the plugin embedded in this page?"

    The Internet radio player screen is displayed and you can listen to Internet radio.

Hints

  • To use the Internet radio feature you must have access to the Internet via a wireless access point or hotspot.
  • The operation and design of the buttons vary depending on the Internet radio player. For details, refer to the help screen for the Internet radio player in use.
  • The PSP® system supports streaming audio (audio playback while receiving) for Internet radio. You can listen to streaming content only when connected to the Internet.
  • For some Internet connection environments, playback may be intermittent or may stop before completion. Also broadcasts may be stopped without prior notice, at the discretion of the station providing the content.
