An awesome racing game for PSP!

by datdauto Nov 21, 2009, 5:28 AM PST

Yeah, i've downloaded it from PSS for a month. And it's worth for my money. An awesome game that's incredibly addictive, lots of mission and cars, awesome sound effects and a great ad - hoc mode with 6 players. But there is a low number of soundtracks...

Great Game

Burnout is a game where you can play it over and over and not get bored. The races are a lot different than NASCAR racing games because you're able to slam you're enemies into the wall and get rewarded after a certain amount of takedowns. There is another section in the game called "Crash" where you try to cause a major traffic jam. I personally dislike the Pursuit part of the game because it's very challenging. Road Rage is a fun portion of Burnout because all you need to do is get takedowns against your enemies. Time Attack, the last part of the game, is when you race around the track trying to beat the time the game gives you. Be careful because anyone who enjoys racing can get easily hooked.

Burnout Legends Review

by ZEXI_LUO Dec 16, 2008, 10:14 PM PST

Burnout Legends has come to the PSP. It's a great game for the PSP, but not superb. As a usual racer you have your car and race, but there is a lot more game modes. There's pursuit where you have a cop car and try to ram the guy you are trying to catch, road rage which is to take out your opponents by ramming them in the time limit or until your car gets damaged so much that it just breaks down, crash mode where you get a car and just totally ruin traffic, and time which is to beat a certain time in one lap.

The graphics are good and cars are detailed well. the sound is good with the crashing, drifting, etc. Some flaws it can be annoying is that it's pretty hard to see oncoming traffic, you crash a little easy and sometimes hard, there's no damage on the car when you sort of scrape against the wall, and it's sort of a mix of Burnout 3 and 2 so you're playing old games. Multi player is fun supporting 2-6 players ad hoc. The campaign/racing will take you a long time i don't know how long though. You can also unlock new cars and awards to your garage.

Legends is a great game for the PSP or probably the best racer on the PSP. If you like racers, get it.
