Not for people with little free time

by FuriousYellow Dec 21, 2009, 2:04 PM PST

Is it deep? Yes.
Is it funny? Not as much as the Mario & Luigi games, but yes.
Has it got plent of stuff to do? Too much stuff, actually.

Disgaea starts awesome, but as the game progresses, a lot of grinding is necessary. So much that eventually, it started to feel more like a chore than fun. And unlike the Fire Emblem games, here the griding isn't compensated by the plot development - which happens very slowly.

As I don't have so much free time now, I eventually stopped playing it. It was great while it lasted, though.
