FIVE STARS FOR THE BEST GAME IN HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY CRUD, WHY HAVE I BEEN PLAYING THE 2K BASEBALL, 2K SUCKS!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST BASEBALL GAME EVER, THE FRANCHISE MODE IS SO AMAZING BEFORE THIS I NEVER KNEW ABOUT WAIVERS OR ANY THING. THE GRAPHICS ARE 10 TIMES BETTER THAN 2K9. THE FEATURES, LIKE ROAD TO THE SHOW IS AWESOME!!!! YOU ACTUALLY GO THROUGH MINOR LEAGUE SYSTEMS AND YOU DO TRAINING TO MAKE YOUR SELF BETTER. AND A LITTLE TRICK FOR THE GOALS IS ONLY DO EVERY THIRD SET OF GOALS.IN FRANCHISE YOU CAN OFFER ARBITRATION. BUT THE BEST THING OF ALL IS THAT IT DOESNT HAVE A MILLION GLITCHES LIKE 2K BASEBALL. I LOVE THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY CREATE YOUR PLAYER WHILE NOT IN ROAD TO THE SHOW AND YOU CAN MAX OUT THE STATS TOO. I MADE A "REIGNING HOME RUN RECORD HOLDER" WITH ALL THE STATS MAXED OUT AND NAMED IT ON STEROIDS AND ONE WITH THE LOWEST STATS AND NAMED IT "NATURAL TALENT" THIS GAME IS JUST SO FUN I LOVE IT! MLB 09' THE SHOW, I AM AN ANNUAL CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST BASEBALL GAME EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF BASEBALL VIDEO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great graphics,realistic in so many ways,amazing online features, I do not no who would not want this TOTALLY SOLID GAME. BUY IT TODAY! PS3 AND PSP VERSION ARE BOTH AMAZING! I HAVE IT FOR BOTH SYSTEMS! P.S. Marlins are winnin the 2010 world series for sure!

absolutely love this game!! A+ for all you creaters of mlb 09 the show! if you would just fix up a few exploits online it would be an errorless game, most especially for a portable device!

The best game ever for baseball game history

I just bought this game it is very cheap.It is a not bad game.The only problem is when in gameplay the pitcher looks weird.but it is still a very good game.

HALF DECENT

Not bad, ver y realistic, cheap, good value. At least put an ump behind the plate, though. And there are a few glitches. Throws go way up in the air and are really bad, always. a good game, but really needs some updating, too.

Greatest Game Off Of The Diamond!

The MLB games have brought an extremely player friendly and exciting product to gamers everywhere. MLB 09 is, without question, the best baseball game I have ever played. I have been so addicted to this game that I have just completed the All-Star game in the 2017 season. The game is fun to play and hard to put down. Most importantly, it gives the player a little insight into the world of professional athletics. I have found myself over the course of the last few seasons fighting with my clubs front office over contracts and have even requested trades because of lack of playing time. I love this game!

As good as it gets for a portable system

I've had portable systems ever since the first Game Boy came out, and this is, unsurprising to me, the best baseball game ever created for a hand held system. Obviously, the graphics won't be as slick as the PS3 version, but that's to be expected. The gameplay for the PSP version is smooth, and about as sleek as you can get. I haven't had any problems are far as bugs are concerned.

My only complaint is the same as with the PS3 version: online gameplay is nearly impossible with the terrible lag. I've played other games online and not had any problem with lag. But The Show is unplayable over the internet. Otherwise, it's a great game.

yesterday, i played the mets against the yankees and got 8 home runs in the 1st and 2nd inning.
this game is fun.
