This game is pretty good. It has a new batch of thunder plates and dodge challenges. The challenges are pretty fun but they can be frustrating. The gameplay is pretty much the same as the playstation 2 but this one you can take with you! So it is a pretty good game and is pretty darn addictive. So yes i would recommend this game!

Good, but not great.

When it comes to NASCAR games on a hand-held console, there are few to speak of. NASCAR is only the second title under EA sports to appear on a hand-held console.

The gameplay is similar to the NASCAR games that have appeared on consoles, with Dodge speedzone, missing in NASCAR 07 but present in this game, Challenges, Chase for the Cup, Season and Fight to the Top modes. You also have the availability to an instand rewind feature, where you can go back in time and correct a mistake you made. If your looking for a challenge, however, don't even bother picking up this game. On the hardest lever for the AI and with Braking and Stability assists off, you can easily beat the feild by 15 seconds or more. The thumbstick is what you use to steer, but you might as well use the d-pad since the sterring is too sudden, mostly noticable at Daytona and Talladega.

If your looking for a quick fix of NASCAR on the PSP, then be my guest and try it out, anyone else would be better off skipping it.
