Best game I've played since Patapon 1...

This is an amazing game in my tastes, it will test your sense of rhythm and battle.
First, you have to learn the 4 beat measure rhythms. Most of them are easy to remember, and will probably have you humming them for a while.
The first rhythm is, Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon (Square, square, square, circle). This rhythm allows your troops to move.
The next is, Pon-Pon-Pata-Pon (Circle Circle square Circle). This allows them to attack.
There are many rhythms which allow them to flee, defend, charge, jump and more!
The next aspect is troop building. To build an army, you need materials, Ka-ching is the currency in this game. You need materials and Ka-ching to build troops. After you build one, you can upgrade them. Lv-5 is maturity. Lv-10 is fully grown. And to build the troops, you have a "tree" of troops that you need to unlock before you get to the "Ultra" troops.
The next part are the minigames, there are many of them in this game. Some frustrating and some just plain silly. But you will spend a while doing them as they give you materials that you need from them.
The next is the battle. You always have to keep a sense of rhythm to beat this game. If you get to Fever, your troops attack more efficiently and become more powerful.
You have a troop that can take the form of any Patapon. If you are in fever and get perfect beats, (You will hear a cymbal hit) then your hero will activate their special. Some times this can be the difference between life and death. (Hero abilities) As a Tatepon, he has an impenetrable shield. As a Yaripon, he has an explosive spear. As a Yumipon, he releases a volley of arrows. As a Dekapon, he swings without cease, damaging anything near him. As a Taripon, he has a spear than shakes the ground itself! As a Megapon, he releases a bonanza of notes. As a Robopon, he spins his arms hitting as 1-2, 1-2, 1-2. As a Kibapon, he charges with great power to knock back any enemy. As a Mahopon, he can release huge meteors!
So, after all I said, I rate this game, 10 out of 10.
Excellent sound,
Excellent gameplay,
Excellent graphics,
Excellent game!
