Well, its the same game as far as I can tell. So if you enjoyed this game the last time it came out, then chances are that you enjoy it again.
Graphics could have been touched up a little bit (just like last time), but considering huge the size of the game Im not really surprised.
The battle system is okay, there is a tendency for battles to become repetitive, and dare I say, boring (just like last time). If you stay on top of your 'leveling up' they will go by quick. However the battles were never the main focus of this game anyways.
The story is great considering its a Jap-English translate. So you know what to expect. (limited information up-front, characters that are sometimes child like, a plot that makes less and less sence as you go). I have always really liked the story. Im not sure why.
Its the availability of different characters, changing plot scenarios and the character development system that make this game cool.
The game is better then average for an R.P.G in my opinion. Its fun to play, but its not totally out there. Its the perfect game for a long trip or any other situation where you have long periods of nothingness. I recommend picking up a strat guide for this one, because your options are pretty much limitless.
