Is this the Portable's first test flight on the Battlefront a su

by nickman317 Oct 5, 2009, 9:26 PM PDT

When I first played Battlefront, I thought it was a good succession for the Star Wars Saga. For example, you can fly in space,(Battlefront II) kick the living **** out of a stormtrooper with a kickbutt gun, and use Jedi to your advantage.(Battlefront II) But when the series was going portable, I had to try it. So when I played it, I noticed some great things that made it almost the BEST Battlefront game ever. But I saw some parts of it that made it look like crud.

Story:
The story is about Col Serra telling the story to a chronicler of the fight between the Rebellion and the Empire. And he tells about a group of smugglers, and others creating a group called Renagade Squadron. So Serra was telling the epic battles from the team's own eyes. And even expand on what the heck happened during the war, which helps expand the universe a lot with new planets. The story is told by comic while during gameplay, just action. The voice of Col really makes it look like you were hearing it during the action of the comic screenshot.(Subtitles are in the options so if you didn't hear something due to a car, bus, or train, you can use it.) The story is a little short, with over 10 missions over the story. So the story is o.k.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is both awesome and cruddy, but mostly awesome. For starters, you can CUSTOMIZE your own CHARATER! You know, what he wears, what his face looks like, and you can also change his weapons, say imagine this: You were fighting a AT-AT, you're down to your last rocket on your rocket launcher, so guess what? You can use a guided rocket launcher to hit him, but if you're out, you're in deep trouble. The problems with the gameplay on terra firma is some of the graphics are blocky, your customization can only go 100 credits, and the AI is a bit stupid, so if you have it on Normal, your stormtroopers that you need to hit are babies, so if you put it on Elite, better. Space, is another matter. You still get the cool ships, but some of the controls are a mess, so is land. You can't hit people 'till you get a lock on them, then shoot, man, shoot! The barrel rolls sometimes don't respond, and the only way to tilt your ship, is to press and hold the L and R buttons together during a flight, so flying is a hard thing in this game, if you're trying to tilt your ship. Some of the ships are blocky, again, but then again, it's their first Portable game only, so it's o.k to make mistakes. The Jedi controls are stupid, you can't get a good shot, even

the single player campaign was okay and the single player conquest was great but the online multiplayer was full of hackers. I hope elite squadron will be better.

1st the campain is very short and easy 2nd once your done all the single player modes you will probaly go and play online which sucks because every guy and his dog have cheat codes to make them invincible.I suggest that YOU shoud think about buying this game!
