Mission 13: Lower Level
The beginning
Head down the ramp and follow the hallway to the left. This will lead you to a small room where you will find the First Test Subject. Follow the path down into the main hall. The First Scientist will be near the entrance of the large hall. Watch out for the snipers lurking from all around. They can easily take you out in a few shots.
Go down the large staircase to the first floor. Head down the large hallway on your left and take the path to the left. Heal the Second Test Subject at the end of the hallway. Take out the monks and head for the lab to find the Second Scientist. This scientist is heavily armed and will not go out without a fight.
Climb up the stack of boxes in the room before the lab. Climb through the window and down into another room. Heal the Third Test Subject in the lab in this area. Climb up the stack of boxes in lab and through the window to another room. From here you can head back to the main hall and kill the Third Scientist.
Now that you are in the main hall, head for the smaller hallway directly across from you to reach another large hall. There is a flak jacket here. Climb over the wall of boxes in the far left-hand corner to reach another hallway. The Fourth Test Subject will be in the middle of this hallway. You will now be at the first checkpoint
After the first checkpoint
This path will take you back outside to a storage area. Navigate your way through the maze of boxes until you reach a dead end. Climb up the tall stack of boxes at the dead end and jump up to the balcony above you. Head for the hallway to the second floor of a large hall. Cross the bridge in the center of the large to reach the other side.
Look for a flak jacket on the other side of the bridge. Take out all the snipers before they kill you and head for the small lab where the Fourth Scientist is. Collect the first Card Key from the scientist to reach the SECOND CHECKPOINT.
After the second checkpoint
Return to the balcony you climbed up previously and hop up to the next balcony on the right with a stained glass window. Before you break through the window, make sure to pick up the flack jacket on the right.
The Fifth Scientist will be in the next room fully armed. Carefully anticipate his first move and take him out with a clean shot. Use your cardkey on the lock to open the large door.
Go through the large door and take the path to the left. Halfway down the path you will come across the Sixth Scientist. Continue down the path to a long narrow lab. Towards the back of the lab you will find the Seventh Scientist.
Head back the way you came, passing the large door you originally came through to reach a large locked door. Use the Card key on the door to unlock it.
Go through the large door into a large rectangular room. The Eighth Scientist will charge you once you walk through the door, so get ready to shoot at his head before he reaches you. Go to the hallway on the far left of the room.
This hallway will take you to very large room with a circular stained glass window. Markinson will contact you and ask you to find a way down to the entrance of the catacombs. For now, climb on to the bridge near the circular stained window. Grab the flak jacket and walk toward the circular stained glass window. Logan will run forward and jump through the window. You will now have reached the THIRD CHECKPOINT.
After the third checkpoint
You will now be outside the compound. Kill all the snipers within the area and head down the path to the left. The path from here on is very straightforward. Always keep an eye on your radar because there will be a lot of monks in this area that will try to ambush you. When you reach the Cemetery, look out for snipers high up in the buildings surrounding you. Look for the Last Scientist in a yellow hallway. You will have reached the FOURTH CHECKPOINT when you have killed him
After the fourth checkpoint
Follow the long path all the way to the Rose Chapel. Once in the Rose Chapel, kill all the snipers above you and proceed through the next hallway. At the end of this hallway you will come to a large room where the entrance to the catacombs lie.
