Mission 14: Stronghold Catacombs
Find Phagan
The object here is not to get caught by any of the guards. If a guard catches you, you will automatically fail the mission. Do not use any weapons that are loud also, because those will get you caught also.
As the level begins, stand still and wait for the guard to walk in front of you. Quickly shoot him in the head with a silenced weapon. On the passage to the left is the scientist that will lead you to Phagan’s holding cell. Keep your distance from him when you are following him. Do not kill the first two guards he talks to in the hallway or he will not unlock the door to Phagan's holding cell. Instead, sneak down the hallway and turn right, before you reach the two guards.
The scientist will eventually lead you to Phagan’s holding cell. Kill any other guards in your path. After a short FMV sequence, you will reach the FIRST CHECKPOINT.
Follow Phagan to Lian Xing’s cell
Since Phagan is unarmed and your prisoner, you will have to protect him as he leads you to Lian’s cell. Don’t let him out of your sight, or else all those psycho monks that are chasing you will gun him down.
Make sure to shoot all the monks in front of you and behind you. Along the way you will be able to pick up flak jackets and other weapons. You will reach the SECOND CHECKPOINT when you reach the first two story large room.
Take out the two guards on either side of the room. Right below you are two more guards waiting to ambush you. Take those guards out before they spot you and continue to follow Phagan through the catacombs. You will see an FMV when you get to Lian’s cell. Phagan will be executed as you and Lian sneak away.
Get Lian Xing out of the catacombs
Follow Lian through the catacombs to the exit. Lian will be armed and will take out most of the enemies in front of you. Since she has your front covered, take out all the enemies in the rear. After a lot of shooting and dodging bullets, you and Lian will end up at the exit.
