If the Network Adaptor Start-up Disc cannot find the network adaptor:Back to top
Turn off and unplug the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment
system.
Make sure the network adaptor is installed correctly. Please see the
network adaptor installation instructions.
Make sure you are not over-tightening the mounting screws, because this
may cause a connection error.
Plug in the PlayStation®2 system and run the Start-up Disc again.
If a blank screen replaces the Browser screen shortly after the system is turned on:Back to top
Turn off and unplug your PlayStation®2.
Using a coin, slightly loosen the network adaptor.
Plug the power cord into the outlet, turn on your PlayStation®2
system and run through the network configuration process. Please see
Create a network configuration.
If the Browser screen remains frozen on the screen after the system is turned on:Back to top
Turn off and unplug your PlayStation®2.
Turn on your PlayStation®2 system and run through the network
configuration process. Please see
Create a network configuration.
If the Reset button on the front of the system is not working:Back to top
Double-tap the RESET button. This will reset the system.
If the system freezes while transferring information from the network adaptor:Back to top
Reset your PlayStation®2 system by turning off the main power switch
on the rear of the system and starting it again.
NOTE: You may lose any data you were transferring at the time of
lock-up (freeze).

Hold down the Reset button on the front of the PlayStation®2
system for approximately 5 or more seconds.
