PlayStation®2 30000 - 50000 Series / Network Adaptor

Removing the Network Adaptor

To remove the network adaptor (Ethernet/modem) (for PlayStation®2):

1. Turn off the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
2. Disconnect the modem cable (telephone cord) or network cable (Ethernet) from the network adaptor.
3. Using a coin, unscrew the mounting screws counterclockwise � a nickel works best.

   NOTE: Do not use a screwdriver, which can damage the screw threads on the PlayStation®2 system and the network adaptor.

4. Carefully remove the network adaptor from the system.
5. Reattach the expansion bay cover to the back of the PlayStation®2 system.
