If the PLAYSTATION®3 does not recognize the storage media:
Check that the media is inserted correctly.
If the storage media is formatted (initialized) on a PC, the PLAYSTATION®3 may not recognize it. After copying the required data to a PC, try reformatting the media on the PLAYSTATION®3.
There may be a problem with the media in use. Try using another media that is compatible with the PLAYSTATION®3.
Some media may have region or territorial restrictions and may not work with your system. See media packaging for details.
Use of certain storage media are available only on the PLAYSTATION®3 60GB model.
