USB Connection Troubleshooting

Try connecting the PSP® (PlayStation® Portable) system directly to the computer using a USB cable. To connect your PSP® to a computer with a USB cable, use a standard USB cable (with a Mini-B type connector). To make a successful connection, make sure that the PSP® is turned on.

  • If you are using Windows 98, you might need to get the latest USB mass storage device drivers.
  • Remember to activate the USB connection:
    Select USB Connection Icon(USB) under Settings Icon(Settings) from the home menu and press X Button.
