After the battery has run out, it will take approximately 2 hours and 20
minutes to fully charge the battery pack using the AC adaptor.
Charging Hints:
Charge in a temperature of 50 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 30
degrees Celsius). Charging may not be as effective in other environments.
Charging may take longer when the PSP® is turned on during charging.
If the power indicator flashes green while you are using the PSP®,
save game progress and recharge the battery pack. If the battery pack
runs out before you save, game progress will be lost.
The charge level display may vary slightly from the actual charge
level, depending on the usage conditions and environmental factors,
such as temperature. If the display is not correct, use the battery
pack until it is completely out of power and then recharge. The
display may not be accurate in the following conditions:
If the battery pack is used for extended periods in conditions
of high temperature.
If the battery pack is not used for a long time after recharging.
If the battery pack has been recharged many times.
The battery pack has a limited lifespan. Battery pack duration will decrease
with repeated usage and age. If the battery pack duration declines greatly,
it may be time to replace the battery pack. The battery pack lifespan will
vary depending on how it is stored, the conditions of use and environmental
factors such as temperature.
Battery pack duration may vary depending on the type of content being played
or usage conditions such as screen brightness and environmental factors. As
the battery pack ages, anticipate reduced battery pack duration.
When your PSP® will not be used for an extended period of time, remove
the battery pack from the PSP®. Store the battery pack in a cool, dry
place out of the reach of children.
