Using Slideshows

A slideshow displays photos/images on your PSP® (PlayStation® Portable) system in order, one after another.

To start a slideshow:

  1. Select the icon for a folder or media that contains photos/images and press X button.
  2. Press Triangle button to display the photo options menu.
  3. Highlight the Slideshow option Slideshow icon (Slideshow) and press X button.
  4. The slideshow will begin.
  5. The content displayed will vary depending on the icon selected in Step 1:
    • Memory Stick™: All images saved on the Memory Stick Duo™ are displayed in order.
    • Digital Camera Images: All images in the Digital Camera Images folder are displayed in order.
    • Folder: All images in the selected folder are displayed in order.
    • Images: Images are displayed in order, starting from the selected image.

To stop a slideshow:

  1. While the slideshow is running, press Circle button.
  2. The slideshow will stop.

To display the control panel:

  1. While the slideshow is running, press Triangle button.
  2. To clear the control panel, press Triangle button or Circle button.

To change how long each slide photo/image is displayed (slideshow speed):

  1. Highlight Settings Icon (Settings) from the home menu.
  2. Select Photo Settings Icon (Photo Settings) and press X button.
  3. Select Slideshow Speed and press X button.
  4. Choose one of the following speeds and press X button.
    • Fast: Display photos/images at a fast speed.
    • Normal: Display photos/images at normal speed (default).
    • Slow: Display photos/images at a slower speed.

To view information about each photo/image during a slideshow:

  1. While the slideshow is running, press Triangle button to display the control panel.
  2. Use the directional buttons to highlight Slideshow icon (Slideshow) and press X button.
  3. Press the X button button repeatedly to display the following information:
  4. Photo/image name and date of last update.
  5. Photo/image name and date of last update displayed together, with thumbnails of each photo/image.
  6. The display is cleared (no information is displayed).
