You can save Real Simple Syndication (RSS) content to your Memory
Stick Duo™ for offline enjoyment on your PSP® (PlayStation® Portable)
system. To find out more about the RSS channel feature, see Using the RSS Channel.
First set up your RSS channel setting save option:
Select (Settings), then select (RSS Channel Settings).
Select Item Save Options and choose one of the following:
Latest item: saves only the latest item.
Last 2 items: saves the last 2 items.
Last 5 items: saves the last 5 items.
Last 10 items: saves the last 10 items.
All items: saves all items in a channel.
Then find the content and save it:
Make sure your PSP® is set up for Wireless (WLAN) networking
Infrastructure Mode. For more information, see Setting up Infrastructure Mode
Turn on the WLAN switch on the left side of the PSP® so that
the PSP® can connect to the internet.
Make sure your PSP® has a Memory Stick Duo™ inserted.
Make sure you've added the RSS channels you want to hear. For
more information on adding RSS channels, see Using the RSS Channel.
Select (RSS Channel
Settings) under (Network) from the home menu
and press .
To Save the Latest/Multiple music/audio content, select a
channel and press . Select "Save
Multiple" and select the channels you want to save. Press the to save the latest items on the Memory Stick.
To Save music/audio items individually, select a channel and
press or Select an item and press , then select Save.
Follow the on-screen instructions to save the content.
A folder labeled with the channel name will be automatically
created for each channel under the MUSIC folder.
Online Requirements
PSP® online connectivity requires internet service and network devices,
such as a DSL or cable modem and a wireless router - for example, a
Wi-Fi hotspot at a café or a wireless local area network (WLAN) in your
home.
Memory Stick Duo™
Available Space
The amount of data you can save to your Memory Stick Duo™ will
depend on the storage capacity of the Memory Stick Duo™ (they
come in various sizes) and the amount of information already saved.
There must be enough available space for the files you wish to save on
your Memory Stick Duo™. For information about how to check for
available space, see System Check. If
you need more room on a Memory Stick Duo™, you might be able to
delete data. For details, see Deleting
Data from a Memory Stick Duo™.
Formatting
If this is the first time you've used the Memory Stick Duo™, you
must format it for use with your PSP®. For instructions, see Formatting a Memory Stick Duo™.
Folder Structure
Files must be saved in specific folders using appropriate names to be
viewed on the PSP®. If you have problems accessing content, see About Memory Stick Duo™ Folder
