SAVE GAME
1. From the memory card screen, select SAVE GAME.
2. Enter a name for your game. Incorporating the name of the team and its place in the season or playoffs can be helpful if you’re saving a lot of games. Once you’re satisfied with the name, press the Circle button to end. SELECT and DELETE are only used for spelling.
3. Make sure you’re saving on the proper memory card. You may use either slot one or two. The game will give you a chance to back out if you are not saving on the right memory card.
4. Do not remove your memory card. Watch the screen for a message about your save. The game will tell you if something has gone wrong.
LOAD GAME
1. From the Memory Card screen, select "load game".
2. The only games that will appear will be NHL Face Off ‘98 games, unlike the save screen which shows all the identifiable games on the card. (This is only because the game only bothers showing saved games that are able to be loaded. You haven’t lost any other saves from other games!)
3. Do not remove your memory card. Pressing the Triangle button at any time will exit the loading process. The game will tell you if there is any problem with the loading.
